Pinwheel Project

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! I’ve been working on new classes and events for this summer, so stay tuned for more details 🙂

Tonight is Stamp Club (woohooo!) Here’s one of the projects we will be creating this evening. It’s a quick little treat bag with coordinating pinwheel. My kids LOVE pinwheels, and I have to admit I do too!!! I got the idea from SU Demonstrator Becky Roberts and you can see her original post here.

The measurements for the treat bag are 3-1/8″ x 11 and you score at 4-3/4″ and 6-1/4. Use the corner round punch to smooth out the edges, and the word window punch to create the handle. I cut a piece of the new “Floral District” designer series paper to measure 2-7/8″ x 3-3/4″ and snailed it to the front.

Inside the bag is a 4-1/2″ x 3-1/2″ square (scored at 1″ on all sides) folded into a box an attached with sticky strip. You can easily add a little bag of chocolates or a gift card–or any treat item for that matter 🙂 here are some more samples using different dsp.

Now onto the pinwheel! You can use any size square, depending on the size you want for your pinwheel. This one was 4″ x 4″. You can find directions (with pictures) on how to make these here from SU demonstrator LeeAnn Greff

Have a Fabulous Day and Happy Stamping!
