I saw this super cute treat bag on Dawn Olchefske’s blog, and knew it would be a perfect project for July’s Stamp Club. While it may look complicated, it couldn’t be easier! You can watch her video tutorial here.
Here are the supplies you’ll need:
- 8″ x 8″ piece of Designer Series Paper (I used “Patio Party”)
- Simply Scored Tool
- Diagonal Score Plate
- 1″ Circle Punch (or small oval punch)
- 13″ of Ribbon
- “A Fitting Occasion” Stamp Set (or any small image stamp)
- 3/4″ Circle Punch (coordinates perfectly with the stamp set image)
For the center circle, I used a new stamp set from the 2012-13 catalog called “A Fitting Occasion” (pg 101). I love the little images and all of the possibilities you have for holidays and occasions. I stamped the word circle in Midnight Muse and the butterfly in Primrose Petal.
The 3×3 card was super simple: take a 6″x3″ piece of whisper white cardstock and fold it in half and use snail adhesive or glue stick to adhere the 2-3/4″ square piece of coordinating designer series paper.
You could also add some chocholate squares or tea bags, depending on your occasion. I’m thinking treat bags for the kids’ halloween, christmas and valentines day parties at school!!! You will have a completely different look just by changing the designer series paper.
Have a Fabulous Day and Happy Stamping!!!
