Stamp Set of the Month for August

For August, the Stamp Set of the Month is Blooming with Kindness. As a member of the club, you will receive the clear or wood mount stamp set AND two full card samples! Here’s one of the cards:

I started with Crumb Cake base and layered it with one of the NEW In Colors, Primrose Petal. The Tulip Frame Embossing folder was used to give a little texture (gotta love embossing folders!!!) The flower is stamped on a 2-7/8″ square of Very Vanilla CS and layered on a 3″ square of Crumb Cake. I used a sponge to add color to the flower, but you could also use the aqua painter or blender pen. I also sponged the edges of the cardstock with Soft Suede ink to give it a vintage look. The phrase “happy birthday” from the Itty Bitty Banners set was stamped in Soft Suede and cut out using the coordinating framelits.

You know my love of dimensionals!!! And, of course, this card was no exception. I used them to pop up the 3×3 square over the label punch, and on the banner too! Finally, I added three pearls to finish the look.
