Swallowtail and friendship

My kiddos are sick 😦 so today’s post is a quick one.

Here’s another one of the cards we stamped at last month’s card class. Stampers could choose from certainly celery, rose red, pretty in pink, perfect plum, and marina mist to create their own color combo. One of my samples featured perfect plum and certainly celery (which is retiring at the end of this month!!)

Can you see the shimmer and sparkle on the wings? We added a little Dazzling Details for the final touch–warning: a little goes a long way 🙂

These one-layer cards are very mail-able and easy to mass produce. And of course, you can change up the colors and the greetings to fit your needs. For example, using darker colors would make for an elegant sympathy card. You could also add another layer of cardstock to the base to pull in some more color. Or why not try one (or more) of our embossing powders to add another element. Lots of ways to step-it-up!
