Saturday was all about the Beach!

We drove across the bridge to Coronado Island to visit the 125 year old Historic Hotel Del Coronado. Built in 1888, this classic beachfront has been named one of America’s most beautiful beach resorts.

Loved this herb and vegetable garden right on the grounds of the hotel.

Following Coronado, we headed back to the mainland and drove north to Pacific Beach. It was classic California with the beachfront boardwalk and pier.

Can’t forget about the surfers!

Or the wooden roller-coaster (and YES, we rode it!!!)

After a long day in the sun, we headed back to the hotel to freshen up before heading to Little Italy for dinner. What a great area of the city! Lots of restaurants, shops, and plenty of opportunities for people watching 🙂 We had reservations at Bencotto, and you guessed it–delicious!

Tomorrow I’ll share pics from our card swap! Lots of great ideas!!!!

Thanks for stopping by and have a fabulous day!!!!
