Swapping in San Diego

About a month ago, I received an invitation to join a WOW swap for those attending the San Diego Incentive trip.  Of course I jumped at the opportunity!

Here’s what I came up with….

I am LOVING this Starburst/Sunburst technique! It may look complicated, but it’s a snap to assemble! Here’s a great video tutorial with a few tips and tricks for creating your own–thanks Dawn!

This card was also one of our Stamp Club projects for this month–it was a hit!

Stamps: Greetings of the Season (carryover)

Ink: Pool Party

Paper: Whisper White, Pool Party, Winter Frost Designer Series Paper Stack

Etc: Silver 1/8″ Ribbon, Dimensionals, Snail Adhesive

It’s all about the embossed layers! Lots of stamping, embossing, die-cutting, and assembling, but it was totally worth it, don’t you think! 🙂

Ink: Midnight Muse, Versamark

Paper: Night of Navy, Brushed Silver, Very Vanilla

Embossing Powders: Gold, Silver, Clear (tip: stamp image in Midnight Muse Ink, then pour clear embossing powder over the stamped image)

Etc: Heat Tool, Big Shot, Festive Flurry Framelits (Bundle and Save 15%!), Dimensionals, Rhinestone Jewels
