Sunday Sketch-Map It Out

Happy Sunday! Here is the sketch inspiration for today’s card:

ss 3-30-14

I knew I wanted to use the “Map It Out” photopolymer stamp set, so I just turned the sketch to be horizontal instead of vertical.

I used the grid image for my diagonal accent on the first card, and switched to polka dots for the second.

Here’s what I came up with:

Stampin’ Share

Here’s another theme you’ll see on my blog…..Stampin’ Shares! I have an awesome team of demonstrators, and I’m excited to share some of the cards and projects from their classes. Here’s a sweet card we made at Beth’s “Sip & Stamp” class last month.

sip and stamp january

Inspired by a post she saw on Pinterest, she made it her own by changing the color scheme to reflect her designer series paper. I LOVE not only the different layers, but all the different textures…..the lace doilies, scallop edge heart, pleated ribbon, bakers twine, and the butterfly embosslits! Thanks for the inspiration, Beth 🙂

Two Cups are Better than One

coffee closeupPreview

My name is Lauren, and I’m addicted to Coffee….and Stamps……and Designer Series Paper……so I had a lot of fun with this card 🙂

We kicked off a new round of Stamp Club last week. This month’s technique was  paper piecing! It’s a fun and easy technique to incorporate with an outlined-image stamp. Just stamp your image twice; once on white card stock, and then again on your designer series paper. Then cut the section from the dsp and it will match perfectly (just like my coffee cup jackets)

Special thanks to Rita Wright and her Pin-spiration 🙂

Little Bit of Love

heart 1

A new round of stamp club started this month, and that means NEW Monthly Swaps–hooray!!! While I’m not really a fan of the holiday, I couldn’t resist whipping up some clean and simple Valentines.

Are you on the list?

christmas santa

Only 74 more days till Christmas! Those attending my Christmas Card Stamp-a-Stacks already have 24 cards stamped and ready to send! Our next class in Monday, October 14th, and I’m excited to share 3 new card designs with them.  (p.s…this months class is FULL, but I’ll bring the class to you! Ask me how.)

This card is almost a direct case SU Demo Mindy Backes. Thanks Mindy!

Here are 3 things I LOVE about this card…

1) Clean and simple design! A good balance of elements with Santa on the bottom right, and pennants in the top left.

2) Easy Prep & Budget Friendly! 2 full card stock layers and a couple of banners and that’s it! And a great way to use your designer series paper scraps! (and great for mass production!)

3) It’s flat (no bows, buttons, or jewel embellishments) and the post office will love you! No extra stamps required 🙂
