You Made My Day-mini treat box

box

I whipped up a handful of these sweet treat boxes for this month’s stamp club. I found this idea on Pinterest from SU Demonstrator Kriss Huels–Thanks Kriss! She used Sale-a-Bration paper, so I swapped in the NEW “Cherry on Top” designer series paper, and added the new Dotted Lace ribbon bow. The greeting comes from “A Dozen Thoughts” stamp set

My favorite part of this treat–you don’t have to rip the paper to open it!!! It slides right behind the greeting. Sweet!

For my Stamp Club members, I added a sample of the NEW In Color Blossom Accents.

Super Simple DSP Bags

small front

There’s a whole lot of color going on with this super cute gift bag. And YES, it’s created entirely of Stampin’ Up! Designer Series Paper!!!! With this month’s Buy 3 Get 1 FREE dsp promotion, I thought it was the perfect time to showcase these adorable–and super simple–bags.

I found this GREAT video tutorial from SU Demo Jackie Bolhuis–Thanks Jackie 🙂 Here’s a quick cheat sheet — but I suggest you watch the video, as she gives you some great tips and tricks!

My Stamp Club girls had soo much fun creating their own this month! Here’s a sample of their color combos:

The little card and coordinating clothespin tie the whole package together. The card measures 2.5″ x 5″ (fold in half) and the dsp is 2-1/4″ x 2-1/4″.

black bags

I LOVE the simple elegance of the Back to Black dsp — stunning!

P.s….you can also make a smaller version using 8″x8″ pieces of dsp. Just reduce your score lines to 2″ and 1″. The smaller bags are great for gift cards and small treat items.

Two Cups are Better than One

coffee closeupPreview

My name is Lauren, and I’m addicted to Coffee….and Stamps……and Designer Series Paper……so I had a lot of fun with this card 🙂

We kicked off a new round of Stamp Club last week. This month’s technique was  paper piecing! It’s a fun and easy technique to incorporate with an outlined-image stamp. Just stamp your image twice; once on white card stock, and then again on your designer series paper. Then cut the section from the dsp and it will match perfectly (just like my coffee cup jackets)
