Something for Baby

Another one of my friends welcomed a new addition to their family–a beautiful baby girl! Here’s the card I created for the new lil lady and her family:

baby girl

I used Something for Baby stamp set and the coordinating Baby’s First Framelits (save 15% when you Bundle the two!). I used the Lullaby Designer Series Paper as my color inspiration for my coordinating card stock. “Enjoy the fuss” is from the Big News stamp set.

With all of the supplies already on the table, I figured I should probably create a boy version as well:

Don’t you just LOVE the little tie! Too stinkin cute, if you ask me 🙂  This time I used the NEW “Simply Wonderful” Sale-a-Bration set (one of the may items you can select FREE during Sale-a-Bration!)

This is ONE of the 3 card designs we will stamp at my upcoming event: Birthdays & Babies Stamp-a-Stack on Tuesday January 20th! Space is limited, so please RSVP to reserve your spot.

The Sale-a-Bration and Occasions Catalogs are in FULL SWING!!!  Hip Hip Hooray!!! You can shop online 24/7 @ or contact me to set up your own stampin’ get-together with friends and family!

Rich Foliage

gently falling leaves

The leaves are starting to change here in Mid-Missouri. This is my favorite time of year, hands down!

And one of my favorite stamps for the season is Gently Falling.

Tips & Tricks:

  1. Stamp your leaf in Early Espresso Ink onto Daffodil Delight Cardstock
  2. Using a Stampin’ Sponge, add Cajun Craze ink to add color and depth to your leaves
  3. Cut out the leaves with Stampin’ Snips (after you’ve sponged them with color).
  4. This makes the process much easier, and keeps your fingers a little less inky 🙂
  5. Cut of the stem? No worries! Simply hide it behind the button or another leaf.
