If you haven’t tried Stampin’Up!’s Simply Scored Tool and Diagonal Plate, you don’t know what you’re missing! With score lines every 1/8 of an inch, the Simply Scored Tool makes it easy to score cardstock and enhance your crafting projects. You can even make your own enevelopes with the Diagonal Plate!
Here is one of the cards we created at the first Simply Scored Class. This card features tiled-grout lines created with the Diagonal plate. The trick is to score the diagonals one inch apart from corner to corner. Then you stamp your image, so the ink doesn’t go inside the scored grout lines. To add some dimension, I sponged Baja Breeze, Certainly Celery, and Regal Rose in the background. A simple phrase from Teeny Tiny Wishes punched with the word window and layered with the modern label punch help to ground the image. A piece of lace ribbon secured with a gold brad adds a finishing touch.
Inspired By Nature is one set that is retiring, so if it’s on your wish list, make sure you order it before May 31st.
Have a Fabulous Day and Happy Stamping!
